architectural APPROVALS AND request PROCESS

When a homeowner wishes to make improvements to their home, they must submit an Architectural Request for consideration by the Architectural Committee. To start this process, first familiarize yourself with our CC&Rs, By-laws, and Architectural Standards and review the Architectural Check List for additional items that may be requested. Our Architectural Committee Approval Requirements clearly state that:

No structure or dwelling of any kind shall be commenced, erected, or placed on any of said lots until the design, location and kind of materials to be used in said structure have been approved in writing by the Architectural Committee of Pinnacle Peak Estates Unit Two, a Committee of the Pinnacle Peak Estates Unit Two Homeowners’ Association. Further, no construction, modification, or alteration that changes the exterior appearance of any lot or any structure located on the lot shall be made until said change has been approved in writing by the Architectural Committee.

Once you have your project ready for submission, send an e-mail to the contacts listed below with the following:

  • A brief description of the project

  • Colors, materials, etc. where applicable, see our current CC&Rs, By-laws, and Architectural Standards for details

  • Plans or drawings outlining changes to the the exterior portion of the home (2 printed copies may be requested, depending on the scope of the project)

  • You may want to consult our Community Information section and the City of Scottsdale website section for additional planning and development information
